1. Scope & Hierarchy
- This Policy governs all monetary transactions (Pay In by Buyers, Pay Out to Creators) processed via https://www.codexnova.com/.
- It forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions. In case of conflict, this Policy prevails for payment-related matters.
2. Supported Currencies & Pricing

*Crypto Pay In is disabled for consumers in the UK, US, and any FATF high-risk jurisdictions.
3.1 Authentication & Security
- All card transactions use PSD2 SCA (3-D Secure v2).
- We never store raw card credentials; we rely on PCI-DSS-certified payment processors.
4. Invoice & VAT Handling
- A VAT invoice is auto-issued upon successful Pay In; viewable in your dashboard and emailed in PDF (EC Directive 2006/112/EC compliant).
- Creators selling from outside Estonia must provide a valid VAT ID to avoid cascading VAT on Pay Outs.
5. Pay Out – Remittance to Creators

Creators must complete KYC (photo ID + proof of residence) before first Pay Out. Failure to pass KYC within 30 days freezes earnings until rectified.
6. Refund & Withdrawal Rights (Buyers)

Important: Download commencement = explicit waiver of the 14-day withdrawal right under Art. 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive.
7. Refund Method & Timing
- Refunds are credited to the original funding instrument.
- For SEPA, funds typically reappear within 2–3 business days; cards = 5–10 business days; crypto = same-day on-chain transfer minus gas.
- We do not issue refunds to alternative accounts or in cash.
8. Charge-backs & Disputes
- We contest illegitimate charge-backs with evidence (download logs, IP, 3-DS auth).
- If a charge-back is upheld, the amount (plus network fee) is debited from the Creator’s upcoming Pay Out.
- Repeated Buyer disputes (≥ 3 within 12 months) trigger account review and possible suspension.
9. Fraud, AML & Sanctions Controls
- Transactions are screened against EU / UN sanction lists and domestic Estonian FIU alerts.
- Suspicious activity results in immediate Pay Out freeze and SAR filing in line with the Estonian Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Act.
- Crypto inflows undergo on-chain analytics (risk-score ≤ 50 required).
10. Customer Support Escalation Ladder
- Level 1 – Billing Desk (info@codexnova.com) → initial review within 24 h.
- Level 2 – Compliance (compliance@codexnova.com) → complex AML/charge-back issues.
- Level 3 – Management Board → unresolved disputes > 30 days or regulatory complaints.
11. Policy Updates
We may revise this Policy with 14-day prior notice via email and site banner. Continued use after the effective date signifies acceptance.
12. Refund Responsibility
Since the platform is the seller, the company is fully responsible for reviewing refund requests, resolving disputes, and making final decisions on each case. Content creators are not involved in the refund-handling process.
13. Customer Communication
All refund and dispute requests must be submitted directly to the platform’s support team. Direct communication between buyers and content creators is not permitted.
